As part of Halifax Music Town festival, we asked the wonderful portrait painter Marcus Jack to capture on canvass some of the many famous musicians/bands to have played in Halifax over the past 65 years. It was an amazing list to pick who he painted and it’s evidence of why Halifax is a music town. Expect to see 12 famous ‘old’ famous and a suprise portrait of ‘ones for the future’.
The exhibition opens on the Wednesday with a few words.. after it will be accessible when the bar is open.
