The Grayston Unity has been part of Halifax’s independent bar and music scene since 2016.
We’re friendly, informal and down to earth. Music is important to us, but so is conversation, so you can expect an eclectic soundtrack without having to shout across the table.

The Grayston Unity is a short walk away and a popular stop for people coming into Halifax for Piece Hall gigs.
Join us for a pint, glass of wine or cocktail before the show, meet friends here on your way into town, or call in afterwards and keep the evening going.
We’re also close to Halifax railway station, making us an easy meeting point if you’re travelling into town.

The Grayston Unity is more than somewhere to get a drink.
We support grassroots artists, emerging musicians and Halifax’s wider independent cultural scene. We’re the founders of TOWN grassroots music festival and co-founders of the Halifax Festival of Words.
Since opening, The Grayston Unity has also received recognition from the Yorkshire Post, Calderdale CAMRA and the Halifax Courier Business Awards, appeared in several editions of the CAMRA Good Beer Guide, and been featured by The Guardian for live music.
